The first impression upon arrival to your new country will always be very special. However, the feelings will vary greatly from person-to-person. Many people feel incredible joy and excitement but there are others who start crying in fear and wondering “What have I done?”.

Eyes from a young boy that explains it all. : )
Rotary Youth Exchange is a very inexpensive and good program…. i leave for switzerland in two weeks with them!!!
I waited until after I graduated, I leave for Switzerland on Sunday
!!! (you can still apply to colleges and just differ your enrollment, so you wont have to worry about that abroad)
Like others i want to go to Japan too. Though i am slightly worried about getting there are thinking, “what am i doing, why am i here?” deep down i know it is something i went to do so badly and i would benefit from it so much.
Well, it is a cultural shock ofcourse, but you must look at it as a challenge! Nobody should regret going to study abroad.

Check out Yamate Gakuin. I am leaving in August for an entire year to study in Japan, Yokohama. It’s going to be awesome! I’m so excited!!!! I’m 16 and I highly recommend them! ^o^
