Homesickness for an exchange student
Everyone exchange student will get homsick, more or less. It is completly normal and nothing weird for an exchange student to get homesick.
It can vary a lot when you get homesick. Maybe all of your homesickness will struck under your first time, after the first exciting time is over. You will maybe get homesick at holidays, when something goes wrong or if you just feel lonely. When you get homesick it is important not to keep it for yourself and walk away. To call home to your parents will just make the thing worse. Instead, tell your host-parents how you feel and activate yourself in some way.

I don’t know whether to go on an exchange or not. My sister is doing one now but I’m so worried I’ll be homesick. Don’t know what to do….
i was worried about it too rach but not anymore. you’ve really just got to decide if you think you will be able to do it or not or if you want it cause if you really wanna go im sure you will be fine
