Am I going to lose a school year?

Question asked by Daniel Alvarez on Dec 6th

Description:

I would love to go to Japan next year to do 11th grade, but I fear that when I get back I will have to repeat 11th grade. I'm currently in 10th grade and I'm 17 years old because my parents decided to send me to school a year late. I don't really want to graduate from highschool being 20 years old. So my question is, when I get back will I go to 12th grade or have to repeat 11th grade? Thank you!

Hello again, Daniel!
Just wanted to ask if you have meanwhile found a solution. :D
Japan would be too fun to miss it.

Btw while looking for an oranisattion for me, I have also found one or two that offer studants to get their diploma in Japan, but i guess that could become very hard… And I dont know where you come from or if any orga in your country do that..

I meanwhile am thiking about asking my org. if I could do this, since I’m 17 right now too, but my hopes are not too high ó3ò
