Help with picking where to go?

Question asked by Aimee Harvey on Feb 20th

Description:

So I was sitting at dinner the other night and my father brought up the idea of being a foreign exchange student. My dad would prefer I go to Spain (because it would help me with my Spanish, I'm in my fourth year), but I really would love to go somewhere in Great Britain (Ireland primarily, but England too). If you guys have gone to those places, what do you think? I'm American, 17 and it'll be my senior year over there. I'm not really worried about homesickness, but I definitely want to go somewhere where I feel it will be a bit easier to adjust. Thank you so much!

First things first, find organizations that work with Americans overseas.  Once you do that you will be able to see the prices, requirements and scholarships. Also you need to see if you will be able to graduate. Most of the time you can’t. Make sure if a company promises it to you, get it in writing.

I'm sorry..
